January 2021 E-Newsletter
Greetings and Welcome to the January 2021 Edition of the BBBA E-Newsletter
We have included information about upcoming events along with relative news as it affects our lives, our health and the building industry.
As always, we encourage you to visit the following websites for additional news and information:

Blair/Bedford Builders: www.blairbedfordbuilders.com
Pennsylvania Builders Association: www.pabuilders.org
National Association of Home Builders: www.nahb.org

Thankfully, GOOD BYE 2020! We will not miss you one bit! Unfortunately, for at least the first quarter of 2021, things will continue to look like 2020. But the good news is relief is on-the-way with a vaccine. Governor Tom Wolf and Secretary of Health Dr. Rachel Levine said to visit the Dashboard to track the progress of COVID-19 Vaccine Distribution.

With all of the restrictions we were faced with, we hope everyone was able to celebrate their holidays in a safe and enjoyable manner. We're sure everyone wore a mask and practiced social distancing.

Board Meeting
The Board of Directors will be meeting on January 26th to discuss, among other issues, the safe resumption of our membership meetings. As you recall, these meetings were on the first Tuesday of the month and were held at the U S Hotel. Given the current conditions, we will try to resume our meetings on March 2nd. We will keep you posted.
51st Annual Home Garden and Healthy Living Show Canceled
The Joint Committee of the show recommended to the Chamber Board and the Blair-Bedford Builders Board that it was in the best interest of the community and all those involved to NOT have a show in 2021. Both Boards voted unanimously to accept that recommendation. The committee will be meeting in 2021 to discuss plans for the 2022 show.
