The Association – Committed to Helping
Understand Codes and the UCC!!
All of us (homeowners,
contractors, elected officials) saw the Uniform Construction Code
become reality during 2004. And we learned and are continuing to learn
daily how much of it is anything but Uniform! What requires a permit?
What requires an inspection? What can I do on my own as a homeowner?
These questions and hundreds more have been answered by the Association
during these past few years, as the “uniform code” has been amended 9
times!! The Blair / Bedford Builders Association will continue to play
the lead role in assuring that its members, the business community,
homeowners, property owners and elected officials have access to the
most current and factual information about complying with all aspects
of the Uniform Construction Code. The Codes that regulate all
construction and remodeling were updated to the 2015 edition on October 15, 2018
